The Crew

Hey! I’m Mary. I’m 19, a cowboy mounted shooter (or cowgirl?) and started up this blog. The horse in the picture is my competition partner, Apache. I’m currently in the windy city for college but escape to the backroads of IL when I can. I’ve been riding since I was 5. I started out with dressage, jumping, and fate eventually led me to a beautiful paint horse and a western riding future. I’m happiest while bareback trail riding. I’d love to make friends or answer any questions!

Okay, maybe not lover. But, I do ride with her.

I adore horses, and everything about them. I’ve been riding for about 7-8 years.
I was trained incredibly well by my first trainer, and I am an aggressive rider. Started with basic dressage, moved to hunter jumper, and finally landed myself into barrel racing, and completely fell in love.
Mounted shooting is something I’d absolutely love to take up, but I unfortunately lack the resources to do so. So, barrel racing has my heart for now. (not that that’s at all a problem ;) )
